Well, it’s spelled wrong and not phrased the way I would have, but it’s there. Posada de Santiago (“Rustic Elegance”), is in the town of Santiago, a half hour by boat from Pana. I like the phrase “Rustic Elegance” so much that I may use it for Uncle Yascha. Posada de Santiago may go after me for trademark violation but I’ll fight them to the last appeal.
Take the boat across in the morning if you are able to. It gets quite choppy in the afternoon and depending on the boat you might get soaked.
Thank you Wayne. I’ll take your advice. Don’t want a wet accordion.
Hey Gerson, for some reason your post about the signs isn’t showing up here, but I wanted to say, keep those signs coming! Funny signs are one of the most charming things about traveling!
It’s there in the blog, entry 13 of 14, titled “Panajachel, Jan 2.” Are you unable to see it?
For whatever reason, it’s not showing up in the blog on my end.
Just got caught up on your blog entries. I may have to announce your 1/16 gig on the 1/13 Yiddish Hour. Cheers.
Thank you Barry. I’m sure you’ll mention rustic elegance.
